The funeral service for senior Dylan Grammer will be on Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at Crawford – A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.
“The loss of a classmate is difficult,” principal Terry Everitt said. “Being there for each other is the most important thing. Continue to love, serve and care for those around you.”
Grammer was born in Henderson on Sept. 21, 2000 and passed away on Dec. 7, 2018.
“God has plans for everything,” senior Logan Kelly said. “Seniors, keep your heads up and stay strong.”
As a student, Grammer participated in the Key Club, help desk and National Honor Society.
“He was amazing,” Key Club campus sponsor Marsha Edney said. “He volunteered often and helped recruit students. He was a delight to work with.”
Students who wish to attend Grammer’s funeral must check out with the front office in order for their absence to be excused. Dual credit students must check out in the library.
“Although the pain we feel right now is awful, everything happens for a reason,” senior Kalison Drew said. “The class of 2019 is really a great example that if you have a good support system, you can get through anything.”
